Important Update:
2021 Stratford Hall Wine and Oyster Festival Rescheduled for April 2-3, 2022
The difficult decision has been made to reschedule this year’s Wine & Oyster Festival for April 2-3, 2022. This decision was not made lightly as many people have devoted time and resources to this event. With local health officials reporting high rates of COVID-19 transmission, we know this course of action is necessary. Ultimately, the health and safety of our visitors, staff, volunteers, vendors, and community is our top priority.
If you purchased a festival ticket, an email was sent with the opportunity to either transfer your tickets to the April date or receive a refund.

The Stratford Hall Wine and Oyster Festival returns on September 18 and 19 to the historic Northern Neck. Unfolding in front of the 18th-century Great House, Stratford Hall’s signature event features tastings from Virginia wineries, coastal oysters, craft breweries, spirits, artisan booths, live music, and family-friendly activities. Highlighted wine & oyster vendors include Good Luck Cellars, Ingleside Vineyards, Rogers Ford Farm Winery, The Williamsburg Winery, Triple V Farms, The Estate at White Hall Vineyard, Chesapeake Green Farms, and Nomini Bay Oyster Ranch.
Although wineries and oyster growers comprise the main event, there are specialties awaiting those who cannot live on wine and oysters alone — craft brews and spirits from Adventure Brewing, Highmark Brewery, Ditchley Cider Works and Farms, Copper Fox Distillery among others, will be offered. In addition, a variety of local food vendors will be serving up barbecue, crab cakes, and other festival foods. Explore local artisan booths and enjoy entertainment both days of the festival with live music and activities for all ages. The wine and oyster tastings, food, and fun are just the beginning of what you will experience at this two-day festival. Self-guided audio tours will be offered at the 18th-century Great House. Wander the beautiful gardens and discover local wares at the Gift Shop. Explore the road to the cliffs overlook, Gristmill, and beachfront fossil hunting. For the young and young at heart, enjoy bounce houses, inflatable slides, snow cones, and more. On Saturday, Victory 7 Mustang Club & Pony Riders Mustang Club will be displaying their vintage cars and, on Sunday, the Memory Lane Car Club, will feature a wide variety of makes and models for the entertainment of visitors and enthusiasts alike.
Wine Tasting tickets include a free souvenir glass. Oysters are sold à la carte. Ticket prices through September 1 are as follows: Wine Tasting Ticket $25, Non-Tasting Ticket $17, Ages 7-12 $5, Ages 6 and under are free.
